Had a good wee hour up at Rough castle Roman fort. It's one of my favourite places as i used to take the kids up here as kids so lots of good memories. Im a bit if a keep fit freak so I train up here now and again. Robert bruce used this place to train his troops. A magical wee place.

Three little Maundy money coins blew me away for a while when I found them until explained what they were. Given to the poor by the reining Monarch at the time, taken from an ancient biblical ceremony on the day before Good Friday. Charles 11 was the first to give out coins which were initially undated. Included are 3 foreign coins I have also had the delight of finding.

When I was introduced to Toddys Forum some 7 - 8 years ago I used to sit at the computer and look at all the posts people were putting up and there was something about seeing pictures of hammys that made me almost sick. How was I ever going to find one of these, there beautiful, ancient and precious, I thought I am not the sort of person that probably deserves to find such treasure. Well I got very, very lucky and pictured below are a few more of the better condition hammy,s I found since.
