2017 Rally Report

Hello All

Thank you for looking in on Toddy’s Hub the home of organised digs in central Scotland.  Well we held our annual Big Scottish Rally for the seventh year in September and it was a success.  We had some cracking finds as you will see in our photos or in Alex ” Hammy Hunting” Video of the weekend. I would like to thank everyone for your support and some of you have been attending since the first one and it is great to meet you each year.

And the people who stayed to the end to help clear the caravans inc Pauwil. Merlin’s magic. Alex Nikon Old blue  a Great team and thank you.Our Rally is set in stone as the last weekend in Sept 2018 and I promise it will be better than the 2014 rally.  Mark it in your diaries.

A Special thank you to Cosmo who’s professionalism in Emergency First Response helped save the life of Ian Hughes who took a Heart attack on Friday afternoon.  Within 2 hours Ian was sitting up in the hospital with a new Stent in safe and sound.  Great work all involved.

I would also like to thank Minelab, Whites & Fisher Labs and detectorists for supporting our charity raffle for The Soldiers Charity which helped raise £713.
